Being an online design SAAS, it is paramount for us to keep DesignBold fully compatible with all the major web browsers out there. (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Edge, etc.) We have an exceptional group of dedicated and talented engineers who work towards this goal almost always on default.
Of all the browsers, Chrome is the most popular one, just considering the number of users using it. A significant portion of DesignBold users log in to their account via Chrome.
Sometimes we receive queries from users stating glitches with designing, editing and downloading. (e.g. not being able to drag & drop, edits not saving, page or templates not loading, etc.)
However, most of the times it is just a local browser issue.
The DesignBold backend system is very robust. So, it’s highly unlikely that the errors the user might be facing are because of system lag.
What are the local browser issues?
The local browser issues are caused by:
Residual Cache, Cookies, and History.
(Some of the browser extensions block the loading of scripts on the browser. Hence, you are not able to download or edit leading to confusion)
(There are thousands of browser extensions out there, and it is practically impossible to make every extension work with DesignBold)
How to resolve?
The following simple steps can easily correct most of such glitches:
- Clear the web cache and history of your browser.
- Check for untrustworthy browser extensions. (Keep a watch for Ad-Blockers)
- Clear the system history and cookie (using software like CC Cleaner) If using CC Cleaner, switch off the option to delete saved passwords)
- Try accessing DB using the browser in the incognito mode.
You may also try to install an entirely new browser and log in to DB for example Opera. (we prefer this method the most)
In more than 95% of cases, the glitches get resolved.
In any case, if you still face issues in designing and folder management, feel free to contact us at our chat support. Our engineering team will review the issue and resolve it for you.
